During the briefing after the National Reform Council meeting on Wednesday, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman informed that soon a meeting of expert group on conducting constitutional reform would be held.
Volodymyr Groysman reminded about the Presidential Decree on "forming an expert group on conducting constitutional reform" which is extremely important. "Soon, the first personal meeting of experts will be held, and I agreed to lead this process", said the Chairperson of the Parliament.
"Reform of state governance system is very important, on the one hand, we adopt decisions allowing us to receive IMF assistance which will be channeled for stabilizing the situation", he said. "On the other hand, we need to use this time for structural changes and reforms", also said Volodymyr Groysman.
"Without amendments to the Constitution, we will not be able to create a quality system of governance which shall be responsible, transparent, and competent", stressed the Chairperson of the Parliament.
